As the world turns...or some other crap

As y'all know, I'm getting married in February....a little less than 7 months away....and I'm frustrated as can be about the current situation! I apparently tore the tendon(s) in my left ankle and have been stuck in a walking boot for about a month now and haven't been active at all. I was working hard at getting into shape for the wedding and I've been really frustrated because I can't go to the gym and do aerobics...but I think I'm finally sucking it up. Yes, it's true I can't do aerobics, but I found out that Pilates on the mat doesn't hurt my ankle (I can even do it in the boot if I need to) so I'm working on doing that a few times a week and I can do upper body weights, so I'm incorporating that into a "workout." Maybe, just maybe, even with the ankle problem, I'll be on my way to getting into better shape.

In other news, my cousin is getting married in New Mexico at the end of August, so Chris and I are heading up there for the wedding. Since my parents divorce, I haven't really spoken much to her side of the family and I figure this is a way to kind of mend things.

Chris and I also got a new phone plan this weekend. We went ahead and got a family plan since it made the most sense for us.

Other than that, not much going on here.
